Ground is a community arts space (based on Beverley Road, Hull), welcoming people from all walks of life to use and take part in creating art. Currently open to the public two days a week, they create a friendly, inclusive space where people can be themselves and come round for a chat and a cup of tea.
Ground put on various activities and workshops encouraging people to express themselves through making art - of all kinds - and to create community around such endeavours. These activities include music performances, poetry readings, film screenings, talks, and more.
Their collective hearts burn fervently for the potential of the arts and creative expression to be strong transformational and nourishing forces, healing and expanding our beings, and bringing us all closer together.
We're pleased to have Ground Collective at Form Shop & Studio for the first showcase of 2019.
