The North York Moors is an upland area in North Yorkshire, England, containing one of the largest expanses of heather moorland in the UK, which covers miles of the park, creating a truly unique and rare sea of purple flowers during the summer months.
The Park was designated in 1952 and is one of the most wooded of England's National Parks.
