This kit contains a blue 8cm bamboo plant pot, a peat-free coir disc and easy-to-grow cornflower seeds: all you need to start growing cornflowers.

// Sowing instructions: Sow a few seeds in the pot inside from March-April or Sept-Oct for early flowers the following year. The packet contains enough seeds to sprinkle a few outside where they are to flower as well. When the plants in the pot are about 5 cm tall, carefully tip the pot upside down to loosen the compost. Plant the whole lot outside in a sunny spot. Cornflowers will flower in spring/summer and provide food for pollinators such as bees and butterflies. Once common in hedgerows around corn fields, cornflowers are now rare in the wild. Remove spent flower heads for more flowers.
Not suitable for children under 3 years, expanding compost is a choking hazard. Adult supervision recommended. Pot diameter 8cm.
