About the artist:
Max is an illustrator and printmaker from Beverley, just down the road from us. He studied illustration in Cambridge and is now based in Edinburgh.
He produces amusing, clever art for your walls that bring big smiles. He works regularly in risograph to make bold colourful prints.
What is a risograph print:
Risograph printing, performed with a Risograph printer, produces vibrant prints using stencils and rich spot colours. Similar in appearance to a photocopier but working like screen print, it is an environmentally friendly method that has recently gained popularity among creatives for its tactile and distinct outcome for producing bold colourful art prints.
