A pack of 4 eco, fair trade dinner candles, hand poured in Indonesia in British Colour Standard. Colourful candles with a twist.
The British Colour Standard dictionary was created in 1931 to standardise colour. These candles contain the colours:
The word Saxe is not English but is adopted from the French, where it means Saxony or Saxon. Saxony Blue was a universally-used synonym for Smalt as early as 1550. Likewise Bleu de Saxe has long been a synonym for Prussian Blue, but since 1753 Saxon Blue has been most familiar as a widely-used name for indigo extract.
Primrose is matched to flowers of that name growing in Surrey, England. Standardised in 1934.

// 24.5cm Tall
// 8 hour burn time, with a tall clean flame.
// Hand poured in Indonesia in an all-female cooperative. The wax extract is harvested from a plantation that's over 100 years old and fully sustainable.
// Fair Trade
// Important - Candle-care. Handle with care and do not shake candles. The hand-poured nature of the product means that this is a delicate item and wax discs can separate if rattled too much.
