An unframed hand printed linocut on acid-free, extra smooth Zerkall 145gsm paper with torn edges, by printmaker Georgie Gozem.
As part of an exploratory exercise into replicating techniques of Medieval woodcut, Georgie recreated a print from Hans Holbein’s Dance of Death series. The series was designed in 1526 and cut by Hans Lützelburger, who was considered one of the finest blockcutters of his time.
// Approx 21cm x 14.8cm
// All paper is torn down to size by hand, some slight variations in dimensions may occur. Each print is hand pressed and so textures and slight marks may differ.
